Tigers toughen up, shift perceptions

Here's what folks are writing about Clemson football this morning:

• The Tigers aren't going to be perceived a soft, unphysical team anymore, says the Orange and White.

•  Also, Orange and White profiles defensive coordinator Kevin Steele, whose squad turned in an impressive performance against Virginia Tech.

•  Too early? Clemson's current odds of winning the national championship are now 12-1. (They were 100-1 at the start of the season.) But the Tigers have a lot of elements of past national champs.

• The Clemson-Georgia Tech game on Oct. 29 is shaping up to be one of the biggest games in ACC history.
