I'm back, again

Sorry I've been gone so long. I've been taking care of some family business. I'll try to catch up.

TOMMY BOWDEN -- CLEMSON LEGEND? Well, it's a little early for that title yet, but Bart Wright thinks Clemson's football coach can reach the level of Frank Howard or Danny Ford. And here, Bowden talks about high expectations for the season during his annual media golf outing. And here's another Bart Wright column about Bowden.

SUMMER SAMPLER: We're now up to the USC game.

IT'S A SELLOUT: Clemson has sold out of season tickets for the first time in school history. That's amazing.

STUCKEY IN THE MIDDLE: Clemson receiver Chansi Stuckey will have a much higher profile this season after the departure of Derrick Hamilton.

FAKE TURF, COLLAPSIBLE POSTS: Clemson is in the process of converting one of its practice fields to artificial turf. The school will also install collapsible goal posts in Death Valley.

FORMER AD RETURNS: Former Clemson athletic director Bill McLellan will be assisting with fundraising for the WestZone project at Death Valley.
