Sammy Watkins says he turned down cash-for-autograph offers

Good for Clemson's ace receiver:

“We get the same guys coming up to us. We know all those guys. We see them every week. They come from Tennessee, Michigan, offering money. You have to realize you don’t want to risk your future for a couple dollars.”

If the NCAA would get its head out of its ass and allow players to receive at least a stipend for playing college football, this wouldn't be a big deal.
