According to Clemson officials, Hopkins crashed his car and did not make Clemson's flight to Miami for next week's Orange Bowl. It is unclear if he will play in next Wednesday's game against West Virginia.

Clemson losing money on Orange Bowl trip
That's right: The Tigers' high-profile journey to Miami to face West Virginia will actually end up costing the school money. The reason? Poor ticket sales.

Dwayne Allen wins Mackey Award
Congratulations to Clemson's Dwayne Allen, who was named the nation's top tight end on Thursday. He'll likely make a bigger splash in the NFL than another former Tiger tight end, longtime Pittsburgh Steeler Bennie Cunningham.

Clemson 38, Virginia Tech 10: ACC champs at last
After 20 seasons in the wilderness, and a month in which it seemed the Tigers had run off the rails, Clemson responded to the ultimate challenge with a resounding 38-10 victory over Virginia Tech in the ACC championship game. The victory gives the Tigers their first league title since 1991, and they'll go to the Orange Bowl for the first time since the national championship season of 1981.
